Most of our regular riders will be participating in the Brisbane2Ipswich ride this weekend, so the next scheduled ride (Rosewood) has been moved from 29th April to 6th May. Note that the start time will now be 7:00am.
About us
Ipswich BUG is a group of cyclists who meet for social rides every weekend. The emphasis is on fun rather than speed.
Rides
There is a scheduled ride every second Sunday morning. These are listed in our ride calendar. The destination and distance is different each time, and start times vary throughout the year. The usual meeting place is at the fountain in Bell St, opposite Ipswich Railway Station.
Informal road and mountain bike rides take place on the other Sundays, and on most Saturdays.
Rides usually take a few hours, including a stop for morning tea. The pace is leisurely, and there are frequent stops to regroup.
We welcome new riders. Bring a roadworthy bike, a helmet, water and some money for morning tea.
We strongly suggest that members also join Bicycle Queensland.
